A self directed brief that considers the continuous pressures of consumption and social media, tension and confusion has built around how to disconnect and engage in moments of individual thought and serenity. I designed a solution to restore people with this sense of presence and mindfulness. I was inspired by the value in acts of creativity and the process of expression.
Form is an organisation that provides resources to engage people with their touch, through physical expression in their creative practice. This would be facilitated through a product that comes with components, to instigate an act of art therapy. In immersing themselves in this creative act, the experience encourages people to have a moment of reflection. The qualities people embody participating in creative acts include; patience, imagination, understanding and self-critique. These beneficial attributes obtained in this practice are moments of mindfulness that aid mental welfare.
